Cristen Culp, Au.D, CCC-A
Partner & Lead Audiologist

Dr. Cristen Culp, Au.D., CCC-A brings over 30 years of clinical audiology experience to her role as Partner and Lead Audiologist at Bayview Audiology, PLLC.. With a career dedicated to improving hearing health outcomes for adults and seniors across Houston, Dallas, and Austin, Texas, Dr. Culp has built a distinguished reputation for providing exceptional patient care and driving positive clinical outcomes. Her expertise in adult diagnostics, aural rehabilitation, and hearing conservation allows Bayview Audiology, PLLC.to deliver high-quality audiology examinations as part of the Compensation and Pension (C&P) process for veterans.

Throughout her career, Dr. Culp has remained committed to enhancing patient quality of life by ensuring individuals maintain strong connections with family, friends, and their communities. Her approach to audiology is rooted in precision, compassion, and clinical excellence — values that align directly with Bayview Audiology, PLLC. mission of serving those who have served.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Culp has made significant contributions to the field of audiology through leadership, education, and public service. She has been a Lifetime Member of the Texas Academy of Audiology (TAA) since 2011, serving in multiple board positions, including as TAA President in 2014. She currently serves on the Speech-Language Pathology/Audiology Advisory Board for the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), where she has spent the past 8 years advising the State of Texas on regulatory changes impacting the profession of audiology.

Dr. Culp has also contributed to higher education and workforce development through guest lecturing at Baylor University and The University of Texas at Austin, where she has provided guidance on amplification resources, assistive device technologies, and business operations in audiology. Her ability to blend clinical expertise with business acumen makes her an invaluable asset to Bayview Audiology, PLLC., especially as the company expands its service offerings.

Dr. Culp holds a Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences, a Master of Arts in Audiology from The University of Texas, and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the same institution.

In her personal time, Dr. Culp enjoys traveling, fishing, golfing, and spending time with her husband John, their adult children, and beloved pets, Wylie, Finn, and Ruby.

Jasmine Burrington, Au.D
Clinical Doctor of Audiology

Jasmine Burrington, Au.D., is a clinical doctor of audiology with over 11 years of clinical experience. She received her Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders at Eastern Washington University, then completed her Doctorate in Audiology at University of Washington in Seattle in 2013.

Since then, Jasmine has worked for hospitals and run a private practice for over 10 years. Her passions in audiology includes helping patients to hear better with the latest in hearing aid technology, as well as helping veterans every day.

She became an audiologist due to her own significant hearing loss, for which she has worn hearing aids since she was 6 years old.

When Dr. Burrington is not working, she will often be found hiking trails, running, at the gym, or emmersed in a book. Otherwise, she loves spending time her husband, daughter, and kitten.

Steve Burrington
President, Founder

Steve Burrington is a seasoned entrepreneur and business executive with over 10 years of experience in founding, owning, and managing veteran-focused healthcare businesses. As the President and Founder of Bayview Audiology, PLLC., Steve leads the company’s mission to provide high-quality medical evaluations for veterans on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) through its partnerships with prime government contractors. His leadership has been instrumental in building efficient, patient-centered healthcare operations that facilitate Compensation and Pension (C&P) examinations to ensure veterans receive the benefits they have earned.

Steve’s career has been defined by his commitment to serving veterans through scalable, operationally sound business models. His previous experience includes founding and managing similar veteran-focused healthcare organization, developing operational frameworks that prioritize timeliness, quality of care, and operational efficiency within VA-contracted healthcare environments. His expertise in government contracting, healthcare operations, and veteran advocacy has positioned Bayview Audiology, PLLC., a trusted partner in facilitating veteran health services.

Steve holds an Executive MBA in Healthcare from Baylor University, where he developed a deep understanding of healthcare operations, strategic leadership, and organizational development. He also earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Gonzaga University, with concentrations in Supply Chain Management and International Business, equipping him with the operational and financial acumen necessary to scale mission-driven healthcare organizations.

Under his leadership, Bayview Audiology, PLLC. is rapidly expanding to meet the growing demand for veteran medical evaluations, ensuring that every veteran served receives prompt, accurate, and compassionate care. Steve’s vision for long-term impact drives the company’s commitment to operational excellence, professional service, and high-quality healthcare delivery.
